Tea Party April 15,2009
I am really trying to keep an open mind about the economy and the approach that it's improvement is receiving in Washington. I am keeping in touch with my Congressman and Senators about what I see and what I hear. I hope you are doing the same, they need our support in their decision making process.
This Wednesday all over the country you will have a chance to voice your feelings about the tax and spend policy of this administration, I encourage you to be at one of these meetings in your town.
In the paper Sunday was the statement that "federal revenues have been on the decline since 2000 but that spending has been on the increase leading to the budget short falls that we are having. We can no longer set a spending plan that is even equal to expected revenues let alone a planned short fall. There is not a state in this union that can do this, and it is time that the Federal government adhere to the same spending policy. We can no longer spend money that we do not have.
